City of London inventory is an ongoing project begun in 2002 and recently revisited. It is a series of events with documentation resulting from observations and experiences of “The Square Mile”. Walks recorded, photos of places of worship, site guides, weather reports on walking days, people in the working clothes, street maps. All the documentation is in a standard 10x15cm format and stored together in a metal archive drawer. The drawing shown retraces evidence of a walk, my drawing I “walk” the space so it becomes more familiar and experienced in my body, “like the back of my hand”.
