The sculpture consists of long strands of newsprint each painted with a single black line, hanging from a wooden prop and casually leaning against a tall tree in the garden. In still weather, the long tassels hang against the trunk, when the wind blows, its strands wrap around the tree trunk and falls back into place. Is it a prop for a procession?, paper strands for decoration in the garden?, a moveable sculpture or painting? By casually leaning against the tree, the painted object takes part in its environment, En Plein Air.
