Title: a way of containing air
Date: 2002
Medium: Printed envelope framed, 27 x 36 x 4 cms, in collaboration with Coracle Press
From artist:
A transparent envelope titled a way of containing air, though made in 2002, seems particularly apt in capturing and possibly posting air between places.
A light gesture signalling the connection of one place with another.

From artist:
I have made a large label with the word lost printed on it.
This I will hang on the fig tree whose fruit never ripens.
The fulfilment of this tree as it extends into space is restrained.
I am aware of that tension, like an aspiration being held back, the resultant suspension being a poetry of loss.
